In the early 20th century, 80 year old Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt), is born aging backwards (he was an old man as a baby and vice versa), causing complications when he falls in love with a 30 year old woman (Cate Blanchett). Button is born in 1919 - with the film itself beginning in World War I, traveling around the world and carrying on all the way through to the year 2000."

Underworld3: The Rise Of The Lycans - January 2009
The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the vampires and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the dark ages, after the long struggle of the vampire race to subdue the first generation of lycans, the two races live in relative peace. Lycans are the daytime guardians of the vampires, vampires are the rulers of the night, aristocrats and nobles. When the daughter of Viktor, a vampire elder of great renown and respect, becomes pregnant with her lycan lover's child she is ordered exectued. Lucian, the lover, is forced to watch as she is burned alive by the sun along with his unborn child. When viktor returns to the execution chamber, Lucian flies into a rage, transforms (in spite of the fact that the moon was not full) and flees with his beloved's necklace. Lucian then rallies other lycans to his cause and the war between vampires and lycans begins. For centuries the war rages, eventually the lycans are beaten. Their only stronghold is the castle of their leader Lucian. Viktor's second in command, Kraven, makes a pact with the lycan alpha, Lucian. The branded skin is cut from Lucian's arm as proof of his demise and his castle razed to the ground. This farce leaves Lucian in relative peace so that he can begin rebuilding his forces to strike a deadly and telling blow against the vampires centuries later by finding the pure blood of the Corvinus line.

Rorschach discovers a far wider-ranging conspiracy involving his colleagues' past which could completely change the course of history.

An exciting adventure based on the classic Jules Verne novel "Journey to the Center of the Earth," "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D" stars Brendan Fraser ("Crash," "The Mummy") as a science professor whose untraditional hypotheses have made him the laughing stock of the academic community. But on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the Earth's surface, where they travel through never-before-seen worlds and encounter a variety of unusual creatures. "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D" is directed by Academy Award-winning visual effects veteran Eric Brevig ("Total Recall," "Pearl Harbor") from a screenplay by Michael Weiss and Jennifer Flackett & Mark Levin. The film is a co-venture between New Line Cinema and Walden Media. "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D" is scheduled for a July 11, 2008 release.
Set seventeen years before X-Men, the film will focus on Wolverine's violent past, and his early encounters with William Stryker. The Weapon X program and his interactions with other mutants will be explored, including his complex relationship with Sabretooth / Victor Creed.
Using several resources that include the Marvel Comics lore, along with the more recent Weapon X graphic novels by Frank Miller, "Wolverine" mixes action with an origin story about how Logan emerged from a barbaric experiment as an indestructible mutant with retractable razor-sharp claws.
Directed by Gavin Hood Produced by Lauren Shuler Donner, Ralph Winter, Hugh Jackman and John Palermo Written by David Benioff, James Vanderbilt, Scott Silver, Skip Woods and David Ayer Genre: Action / Drama / Fantasy / Sci-Fi / Thriller Release date: May 1, 2009
Casts:
Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine
Troye Mellet plays the young Logan
Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed / Sabretooth
Danny Huston as William Stryker
Lynn Collins as Kayla Silver Fox
Daniel Henney as David North / Agent Zero
Will.i.am as John Wraith / Kestrel
Taylor Kitsch as Remy LeBeau / Gambit
Dominic Monaghan as Barnell
Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson / Deadpool
Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Logan, the mutant who eventually becomes Wolverine and sometimes member of the X-Men. "Origins" hints at a prequel of sorts, allowing us to look back at the origins of Wolverine and the shadowy Mutant X program. Die-hards may raise an eye brow at the timing of Gambit's (Taylor Kitsch) introduction to the Marvel film world. However, much like Wolverine, he has a cult-like following (albeit smaller), questionable origins, and the Marvel franchise was running out of options as to when to bring Gambit into the fold. If played true-to-form, look for Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) to steal the show and reappear in his own spin-off at some point in the future.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - August 2008 The film was also known as "The Mummy 3, The Mummy: Curse of the Dragon"
The blockbuster global "Mummy" franchise takes a spellbinding turn as the action shifts to Asia for the next chapter in the adventure series, "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor." Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Jet Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (newcomer Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.
Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress (Michelle Yeoh) to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have laid forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents.
As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force...unless the O'Connells can stop him first. Now, in "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor," the trademark thrills and visually spectacular action of the "Mummy" series will be redefined for a new generation.
"The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" is helmed by director Rob Cohen ("The Fast and the Furious," "xXx") and written by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar ("Spider-Man 2," television's "Smallville"). Reprising their roles as producers in the series are Bob Ducsay, Sean Daniel, Stephen Sommers and James Jacks.

Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering (sic) with jealousy but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
In his first independently produced zombie film in over two decades, George A. Romero returns to ground zero in the history of the living dead. When a group of film students making a horror movie in the woods discovers that the dead have begun to revive, they turn their cameras on the real-life horrors that suddenly confront them, creating a first person diary of their bloody encounters and the disintegration of everything they hold dear. WALL-E is the story of the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot and his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again. Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL·E falls in love with EVE, a robot from a probe that comes down to check on Earth, and she's left there to check on and see how things are going and he absolutely falls in love with her.
